IDAK is governed by a board of Trustees composed of 5 members. The day-to-day running of the foundation shall be done by the Executive Director with a small team who together comprise the Strategic Leadership Team. The role of the Board of trustees shall be policy formulation, strategic direction and oversight. The board will appoint their chair who will be responsible for calling quarterly board meetings according to the Constitution or Trust Deed.

Founder, Executive Director
Kenyanito is a born again Christian and minister of the gospel. A graduate of master’s degree in Community Development and Rural Sociology at the University of Nairobi (UoN) and trained in Political Science and Sociology during his undergraduate degree at the UoN. He is an international humanitarian development practitioner with 15 years of experience invested in working with the vulnerable groups majorly children, young people and women in building better future, sustainable development and defending social justice. He is a problem-solver policy analyst, advocacy advisor, strategy development and implementer, partnerships and external relationships manager. A consultant in policy formulation, design and development of advocacy strategy and campaigns strategy with extensive networks and relevant skill sets in scaling up projects which are evidence based. He is driven by the values of integrity, passion and humanity.
He has a first-hand experience and rich knowledge in working with Governments (giving technical assistance, coordinating the programme governance, strategic thinking and influencing) in implementing flagship and scalable programmes. Kenyanito has worked extensively for and with many organizations in shaping the thinking processes in ensuring service delivery that is aimed at increasing the demand uptake from the grassroots through capacity building and buy-in from key principal decision makers by structured lobbying, negotiations and advocacy. He is the Director of Operations at Spurgeon Child Care Kenya, served as Deputy Policy Advisor at Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA)- Kenya and Senior Policy Associate at Evidence Action. He is a good community organizer who has served in different organizations and coordinated different campaigns in the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Kenya where he has been an official in both Elimu Yetu Coalition (An Umbrella Organization on Education) at County Education Network (CEN) Nairobi, and Local Urban Forum (LUF) geared towards Urban Agenda development.
Kenyanito is a strong believer and practitioner of participatory approach and theory of change. He understands project management cycle and grant reporting, governance, capacity building, gender, coordination and networking. He is a consultant, Founder of IDAK Foundation, Co-founder and Executive Director of Smart Hexa Consultants, Founder Deputy Chair of Association of Community Development Practitioners Kenya (ACDP-k). He has held several leadership positions that have helped in shaping decision making in Kenya and beyond. He is a media guest-governance analyst, member of various boards of NGOs, FBOs, Schools, Churches and para-church organizations where he has served on advisories. He is the immediate Global chair emeritus for NET Ministries Trust. He is also a lead minister at Samaritan’s Ark Ministries, Nairobi. He is a father and husband to Val. An accomplished and multidisciplinary business and operations executive with an impeccable track record, strong business acumen and vision, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a reputation built on 20+ years of experience. Commendable history as the visionary and thought leader for advancing the strategic direction of the Organization through innovation and organizational leadership critical to continuous growth and business scalability in an evolving global market. Juddy has an extensive experience, knowledge, people management and grasp in humanitarian work with the poverty stricken people groups. She is the current CEO of Bethel House Corporation, Los Angeles, CA, USA (from 2020 to date), worked with UN-AGENCY, FAO-Somalia (2007-2015), UN AGENCY-UNICEF Kenya (2002-2005), Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Kenya Graduate Teacher (1996-2002). She holds Masters of Arts Degree in International Relations (USIU-Africa) and Bachelors of Education, H/Economics (Kenyatta University).
Her command and leadership experience spanning microenterprise development, business services, intergovernmental, government, water and sanitation programs, pastoralist girls’ education programs, fundraising, and global networks development. Award-winning microenterprise leadership experience and a track record of delivering tangible results in highly competitive value chain development initiatives as a mentor to high-performing teams and the implementation of channel and business development strategies. Directed mission-critical support initiatives for women led micro enterprise groups on a global scale and within the Somalia area. Took charge of innovating and implementing strategic value chain addition solutions to small micro enterprises while also coordinating logistics for emergent situations.
Juddy embodies high-energy, hands-on executive with widespread acumen, executive-level competencies, and a history of optimizing organizational performance and revenues in operational governance, business strategy, leadership roles for start-ups, women led small and midsize microenterprises, and large enterprises. Strengths and successes in driving business decisions that are immediate and transformative, achieve high-impact results, establish a highly productive tone driving revenue generation and enterprise-wide cohesiveness. She has partnered with U.S. Ambassadors and diplomats in developing strategies for program and humanitarian crisis intervention-based UN food security policies. Administered training and onboarding procedures for women led teams preparing for international and diplomatic trade fairs.
Juddy brings to the IDAK Foundation board wholly all of the above and her signature competencies like organizational Vision & Strategy, Corporate governance, Sales Strategy and Revenue Generation, Execution, Result Leadership, Budget and P& L Management, Metrics-driven Performance Management; Business Process Development; Business & Organizational Management; Transformational Change; Staff Recruiting& Development and Relationship Management.
Goodwill Ambassador
Helen Harrison has known Kenyanito and Val since 2010, and over the years has visited their home and work many times, both as an individual and leading teams of young people. Her initial introduction to them was through CRED Foundation, a UK-based charity that provides support to the work of Spurgeons Childcare Kenya. CRED’s support now encompasses IDAK Foundation as well, and Helen’s support of IDAK is as a representative of CRED, but also very much as a personal friend. Helen lives in the UK with her husband Tim. They have two grown-up twin daughters and are members of Thornbury Baptist Church. Helen is also a local councillor and works part-time as a community care worker, supporting elderly and vulnerable adults with their daily care.
Helen says ‘I am so delighted to be able to take on the role of IDAK Goodwill Ambassador. Having journeyed with Kenyanito and Val over the years as their vision for this new ministry took place, it is a real honour to be able to serve with them, and to find new ways to reignite the dreams for those who, for various reasons not of their own making, had lost all hope of ever being able to realise those dreams.’

An Architect by training, George Radido also holds a Bachelor’s of Theology degree (B.Th.) from International Leadership University (ILU) Kenya. He is also a graduate of Addulam’s Cave Leadership College – London where he majored in Biblical Studies and Christian Leadership. George surmounts, life challenges through a combination of his passion to cultivate the best in people, solving problems and resourcefulness, along with leadership focused on working with teams to achieve goals.
Beginning his career with Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK) in 1988, George’s career advanced from his initial role as an architectural assistant to an associate architect at Archimarks Architects Limited where he is currently working. He founded Radson Construction Company in 2002. He joined Porsh Security Limited in 2003 as the General Manager and later moved in 2005 to work with Karago & Associates Architects Ltd. as architectural consultant / Manager.
George also brings to IDAK corporate governance experience through his work with Not for – profit boards. He is currently serving as a Vice Chair on the Board of Management at CITAM Schools – Kiserian Children Home and is also a Management Board member at BALM AFRICA CONCERN. George has also served as advisory Board Member at Bible League International – Kenya (2010 – 2014). He served as an Elder and member of the advisory team at Christ is The Answer Ministries, Ngong Assembly from (2010 – 2016) and was also the Coordinator of Mission Sending Team (MISET) at Christ Missions to the Unreached – CMU aka CAPRO (2009 – 2014).

Tom Muga is an international development expert with over 20 years’ experience in international development, and humanitarian assistance; including sector experience in education, economic growth, food assistance, health, nutrition, resilience, and stabilization initiatives. He has over 7 years’ experience in managing Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) platforms. He has over 15 years’ experience in program and project management. He has worked in USAID Missions in Afghanistan, Kenya and East Africa, Nigeria, and Somalia for over 20 years and has managed projects over $100 million in total contract value.
His leadership and management experience include his current role as Chief of Party (CoP) for the USAID Nigeria Monitoring Project (NMP), and his previous role are CoP for the USAID Somalia Program Support Services (SPSS).
He is a born-again believer and attends Christ is the answer ministries (CITAM) Karen church where he serves in the Sunday school ministry. He is a member of many faith-based ministries, including the Nyanza Evangelistic Team (NET) Ministries Trust, where he has been a member for over 30 years. He is married to one wife, and they are blessed with four children, three sons and one daughter.
He holds a Master of science degree in Information Systems from University of Nairobi, Kenya, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Sciences from Moi University, Kenya.

Vallary is a versatile lady endowed with deep sense of wisdom and leadership skills. She has a sense of good communication and interpersonal skills. She is result oriented and not afraid of facing hard tasks. She is a trained Human Resource Manager at Institute of Personnel Management Kenya (IPMK) and Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from the International Leadership University (ILU) Kenya.
She has a wealth of knowledge in business operations where she has headed and run Ravanyi Communications Ltd, a company she is a co-founder of since 2008. She brings to the board a market driven experience that will help IDAK to tailor-make her interventions in humanitarian services in fast moving global village as well as vast experiences in women empowerment through table-banking and start-ups with widows in informal settlements.
Vallary has been a part time lecturer at Church Army Africa, where she trains pastors and chaplains on theology. She is a married wife to one husband and together they have been blessed with three children: two sons and one daughter. They love family life and mentoring young people.
